El Diseño Gráfico es una profesión que consiste en crear comunicaciones visuales usando diferentes tecnologías, con la finalidad de transmitir mensajes a grupos sociales con objetivos determinados para atraer la atención de los mismos hacia las empresas o instituciones que ofrecen diferentes productos o servicios.
Existen diferentes tipos de diseño, entre los que tenemos:
Diseño Publicitario: Empleado principalmente por empresas comerciales con la finalidad de atraer al público objetivo para el consumo de sus productos. Tenemos algunos ejemplos como envases, etiquetas, flyers, tarjetas, banners, paneles, etc.
Diseño Editorial: Dedicado a la producción de libros, revistas, periódicos, etc.
Diseño Corporativo: Es la manera de crear la identidad de una empresa o institución, comenzando con la creación del logotipo que será el sello de identidad de todo el material que identificará a la empresa con una sensación de coherencia y uniformidad para sus clientes.
